Co-Founder

She has been carrying out works in the field of civil society voluntarily and professionally for more than 15 years. After working in the fields of media and communication in the private sector, she switched her career to the civil field entirely with projects focused on “Gender-Based Violence” for refugee women in the Southeastern Anatolia Region in 2014. She took key responsibilities on gender-based violence and social cohesion activities for the refugee women and children in community centres, youth studies and integration of young refugees abroad. She continues to give trainings on rights-based studies and communication.

Co-Founder

She became entitled to rank among 12 enterprise teams selected for young entrepreneurship program of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) with her idea “Women Self - Confidence Academy (WSA)” in 2018 and set up infrastructure of the WSA. She worked in the fields of project management and communication management in non-governmental organizations that she met through voluntary works. She is currently taking responsibility as Managing Partner in the WSA. Her areas of expertise are marketing communications, self defence and business development.

Kurumsal İlişkiler Koordinatörü

20 yıldır çeşitli sivil toplum kuruluşlarında gönüllü çalışmalarda çevre, kadın hakları, toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği gibi konularda çalışmış, projelerde görev almıştır. Profesyonel olarak çalıştığı özel sektörde, kadınların güçlenmesi adına çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Dernek Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı ve Akademi'nin Kurumsal İlişkiler Koordinatörlüğünü yürütmektedir.

Eğitim Destek Grubu Sorumlusu

After doing an internship in various non-governmental organizations since her university years, she started to work in the field of Human Resources in an international company. She has been working as a volunteer instructor in the Women's Self Defence Academy since 2020.

Psychosocial Support Field Coordinator

She has taken part in various non-governmental organizations voluntarily since 2014. In the field project of Research Centre on Asylum and Migration (İGAM) focused on the empowerment of the refugees, she carried out her studies as a psychosocial counselor on the resilience of individuals, especially women and girls. She was working as a general coordinator in The Flying Broom Foundation. Now, she is working as an administrative officer in the Dialogue for Change Through Art and Culture Project funded by E.U Delegation Turkey. At the same time, she is the psychosocial support field coordinator of Women Self Defence Academy. Her areas of core expertise are gender-based psychological support, psychological first aid, resilience, couples and sex therapy.

Gönüllü Programı Koordinatörü

2020 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi uluslararası ilişkiler bölümünde lisans öğrencisidir. Aynı yıl Kadın Öz Savunma Akademisinde gönüllü olarak toplumsal cinsiyet ve kadın çalışmalar gerçekleştirmiştir. Ocak 2022'den beri Akademide Gönüllü Koordinatörü görevini yürütüyor.

Hukuki Destek Grubu Sorumlusu

Since 2014, she has been working voluntarily in the field of civil society. In addition to volunteering activities focused on women's rights, she also carries out professional work on the legal adjustment processes of individuals and NGOs related to migration and refugees. She is currently working as the Legal Support Group Officer in the Women's Self Defence Academy. Her main areas of expertise are directive and informative legal support and legal self-defence.

Genel Destek Grubu Sorumlusu

She worked on the clubs on women+ and Lgbti+ studies in university. She is the Academy Support Group Coordinator and volunteer in the Women's Self Defence Academy.

Digital Communication Officer

Sivil toplum alanından haberdar olmasına ve kadın hareketini takip etmesine rağmen sivil alanla Kadın Öz Savunma Akademisi’nde gönüllülük yapmaya başlamasıyla gerçekten tanışmıştır. Haziran 2020’den beri Kadın Öz Savunma Akademisi’nde İletişim ve Savunuculuk Destek Grubu gönüllüsüdür. Ocak 2021’den itibaren Kadın Öz Savunma Akademisi’nde Dijital İletişim Sorumlusu olarak görev almaya devam etmektedir. Eğitimlere katılarak kendisini sivil toplum alanında ve toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği konusunda geliştirmeye çalışmaktadır.

Design Officer

She has been volunteering in various associations and institutions since 2016 and has worked in the fields of youth exchanges, intercultural communication, gender, LGBTI + rights and animal rights. She is continuing her academic studies by doing a master's degree in Women's Studies. Illustrations are of her special interest. She tells the thoughts she defends by drawing and conveys them to others. On the one hand, she does freelance design work.

İletişim ve Savunuculuk Destek Grubu Sorumlusu

2015 yılında Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi'nde sosyoloji bölümüne başlamasıyla birlikte odağını toplumsal cinsiyet, LGBTİ+ çalışmaları ve katılımcı demokrasi, siyaset, toplumsal menfaat gibi konulara yöneltti.
Bu bakış açılarıyla birlikte gazeteciliğe de ilgi duymakta ve öğrendiklerini bu alandaki çalışmalarına da yansıtmaktadır. Şubat 2021'den beri Akademi'de stajyer olarak İletişim ve Savunuculuk Gönüllü Ekibi Sorumlusu görevini yürütüyor.
